Hello everyone. Just wanted to get the word out about 2 adorable pit mix puppies I just rescued. They are currently at a boarding facility in Dalton to get them out of their horrible living conditions. The family that originally got them is hispanic and had never owned dogs before much less puppies. Because they were not housetrained and because they jumped and little kids reside in the house, the puppies lived in the garage. The owners would clean out the garage every other day but all the while the dogs would pee and poop in the garage. Because they were all each other had they would wrestle and in the process roll in all the exscriment. Gross I know. The owner hurt his leg and realized that he would not be able to take care of the dogs like he had planned and he turned them over to DDB. They are Pit mixes but not sure mixed with what. They are around 6 months old. One female (the white one), one male(the brown one). They are not fixed but will be getting up to date on shots. I will be working to get them fixed as there is a program here in GA that helps to fix dogs at low/no cost. The place they are boarding costs $5 a day. DDB is going to be paying for the vetting but I am trying to raise funds for the boarding expense and any vet expenses that may occur. Both dogs have some skin issues (from obviously their living condtions) so they may need treatment for that also. I hope that they will not be there for long. I took pictures and video today of them.
